Whether you’re a professional screener or someone making their own screens for the first time, you’ll need quality spline roller tools. We offer a large assortment of tools and replacement wheels to help complete your screen building equipment.
The Screen Roller tool will help you get your screen installed perfectly. It’s designed to smooth out glazing vinyl or shade screen before you insert the spline. The wood handle is contoured for a comfortable fit, and a steel yoke holds the roller in place.
We also offer a number of nylon screen spline roller options that work great with fiberglass and solar screen. The Economy Nylon Roller tool has nylon wheels and a lightweight plastic handle. One wheel has a rounded edge, the other a beveled edge. If you’d prefer a heavy-duty option, the Spline Roller Combo has two nylon wheels and a contoured hardwood handle. Another similar nylon spline roller has one wheel and a steel cutter on the other end to remove the excess screen. This roller tool also features a hardwood handle.
Need steel wheels to work with instead? We’ve got screen spline roller tool offerings designed with heavy-duty steel as well! Steel is ideal for rolling and cutting aluminum screen wire. Choose the economy roller, made with two steel wheels (one beveled, one rounded) and a lightweight wooden handle. For a higher quality option, the Heavy-Duty Steel Combo Screen Spline Roller is made with beveled and rounded steel wheels, held with polished steel ball bearings. Like the nylon rollers, you may choose the roller with a steel cutter on the end for screen work.
After consistent use after many screening jobs, the nylon wheels of your spline roller tools may begin to wear down. We stock replacement nylon wheels to make quick and easy changes. Choose from the concave or round edge wheels, each of which come with a fully raced ball bearing and a rivet. Please note that these fit our Heavy-Duty Nylon Roller Tools, not the economy option.
Adding both nylon and steel spline rollers to your arsenal will allow you to handle any type of screen. If you have questions about our spline roller tools, please feel free to contact us via email or phone at 972-438-9100 for more information.
