When searching for solar screen fabric, you have several excellent options here at Quality Window Screen Co. You may wish to only purchase linear square feet or entire solar screen rolls depending on your project. You might know exactly how much fabric you need, or, maybe your screening business needs to stock up on fabric rolls. Whatever the case, we offer Twitchell™ Textilene® solar screen fabric, which is highly durable, pet-resistant, and long-lasting. It’s made of PCV-coated polyester fabric that’s the pick of professionals in solar screening.
Textilene® solar screens are available in two different types. The 80% and 90% each block out the sun’s heat and UV rays effectively, however, each will serve different areas of the home. 90% is darker, as it blocks 90% of the sun’s heat. Use this fabric in bedrooms and other rooms of the house that tend to overheat. It’s also useful in desert climates and when daytime privacy is important. You may not want the 90% in your living room, as it will greatly darken the room. The 80% will be the better option, as it offers a little more natural light to enter the room. The 80% solar screen is great for kitchens, enclosed patios, garages, and more. It also offers more outward visibility. In general, 80% is what we recommend for common applications. Choose from seven screen colors, including a mix of black and brown, grey, brown, black, desert sand, and beige.
Buy solar screen rolls by the linear foot to only get exactly what you need to assemble new screens. Choose either Textilene® 80% or 90% in 36”, 48”, 60”, 72”, and 96” widths. You must purchase at least 10 linear feet for your order. This option is best for small projects that do not require an entire roll.
If you’d prefer to have complete solar screen materials rolls, they’re ideal for those who are screening large homes or buildings. These rolls are available in sizes ranging from 36” x 100” to 96” x 100”. If your home is relatively large and you plan to screen all of the windows, a roll will best suit the project. As a professional screener, you’ll need several of the largest rolls to get the most out of the purchase. Plus, you’ll be fully prepared for any screening job. If you aren’t sure what size roll to order, please give us a call and we’ll guide you to the best option.
By installing solar screens, you’ll cool your home up to 15 degrees, which will also make your energy bill decrease. If you have questions about our solar screen material rolls, please feel free to contact us via email or phone at 972-438-9100 for more information.
